The Architectural Committee (AC) is responsible for assuring that all structures that HOA members plan to build comply with the Covenants. It also has the responsibility of welcoming new members and giving them information that they will need to learn about the HOA and building here. The Committee is assigned by the new Board after the General Meeting, and meets on an as-needed basis.

The process and procedures involved in presenting plans to the AC and getting them approved are described in Process and Procedures. This document describes what information the HOA member needs to supply to the AC, the time frame involved, and how plans are approved. Please review this carefully when you are planning to build. Usually the AC can respond in a timely manner, but be aware that even if you have County permits in hand, you need to first have AC approval before beginning the process of building.

What exactly does the AC check for? Please read our CCRs carefully to see what applies to your project. And, feel free to speak with the AC members to get feedback and ideas while you are still in the planning phase. Our application is online, and allows file uploads so you can include images, etc.

If you have questions, feel free to call or email the AC members: Julie Wolf, Chantelle Wisner, Galen Purfeerst, and Diane Robinson. You can email the AC at ac@LakeviewEstatesHOA.org
